Starspring also have a large number of patterns for a wide variety of Consoles and seats. In illustration 4 a console, a jockey seat and a bench cover is protecting a console, two jockeys and a bench seat. The combination cover is now the most popular being easier to fit and take off, and less inexpensive.

A draw string bag is supplied for either a combination cover, or a set, as in illustration 1. The same quality Acrylic canvas, as is used on the complete RIB cover, is used for these covers. All stitched seams are treated with stitch sealant to prevent leakage. Securing is by stainless steel buttons with the female button being screwed into the console or seats, or by bungee cord securing onto hooks screwed into the console or seats. A major benefit of using these covers is the protection of the upholstery from sunlight and bird droppings, but perhaps, more important the protection of instruments from saltwater ingress and UV fading.
