REPAIR AND REFURBISHMENT

Repair and refurbishment can be undertaken with some jobs possible by sending the damaged or work item to us, say a yacht sprayhood, or as in illustration 11 a small fishing boat spray cover where some fabric had worn and the windows needed replacement.

If the jobg is too difficult we would need the boat here at our workshops in West Cork, for example in illustration 12, 13 and 14. This Shetland's cockpit cover was completely beyond repair but the frame was still in good order. A completely new cover was built around the existing frame wityh numerous improvements in design, for example, side adn rear can be raised at sea and access is easy through the zipped rear curtain. wherever possible we used the fittings on teh boat for securing, thus, minimising the cost and preventing unnecessary holes in the boat.
